Artisan Partners has closed its $2.3 billion-large Artisan Mid Cap Value Fund to new investors as of August 31. Existing shareholders may make additional investments, as well as retirement investors, investors with at least $100,000 in the fund, or financial advisors with at least $500,000 of client assets in Artisan Funds. All of the exceptions can be found in the Artisan SEC filing.
