Mutuals Advisors is stepping quick to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Dan Ahrens. Tuesday, the Dallas-based advisor to the Mutuals.com funds tapped Charles L. Norton as co-portfolio manager for the Vice Fund and the Generation Wave Growth Fund. Norton will also serve as vice president of Mutuals Advisors, Inc.

The firm named Michael Henry as the initial portfolio manager to the funds and its president when Ahren's resigned last month. Ahren's had served as president and portfolio manager for the firm.

Norton brings a higher profile to the firm than Henry. He is a principal and portfolio manager at RIA-shop GNI Capital. He is also a contributor to TheStreet.com's site for professional investors, RealMoney.com. Those columns are syndicated to Yahoo! Finance and MSN Money.
