AssetMark is continuing to add to the asset managers on its Privately Managed Account Program. The Pleasant Hill, California-based platform tapped ING Investment Management for its newest slot.

Wilshire Associates acted as AssetMark's consultant on the search that ended with ING's hiring.

The managed account platform is offered through investment advisors at 1,500 advisory firms and accounts for some $7 billion of assets, according to AssetMark's own numbers.

ING Asset Management's Jamie Kase said that joining AssetMark's platform will allow financial advisors and their clients’ access to its proprietary investment management strategies.
