Wechsler 'Danses' to the Beat of a New Hire

Wechsler Ross & Partners, marketing and design firm to the fund industry, has hired Shelly Danse as vice president of business development. Prior to joining Wechsler, Danse was vice president of national accounts for Standard & Poor’s. Well known in the fund industry, Danse has overseen marketing communications programs for industry giants such as Bank of America, Fidelity and Charles Schwab.


Leading financial services marketing communications and design firm Wechsler Ross & Partners announced today that Shelly Danse has been appointed Vice President, business development. The announcement was made by Wechsler’s CEO, Arnold Wechsler.

“I am very pleased to appoint Shelly to this position,” said Wechsler. “She comes to Wechsler with an impressive array of accomplishments in the financial services industry."

Prior to joining Wechsler, Danse served as Vice President of National Accounts for Standard & Poor’s. Among her various marketing and sales roles, Danse achieved distinction as the senior sales person for Standard & Poor’s Financial Communications, and was repeatedly a top salesperson for Standard & Poor’s globally.

While in London, she opened an office for the firm in 1999, and oversaw marketing communications programs for key accounts including Bank of America, Fidelity and Charles Schwab.

In addition, Danse has been featured as a public speaker at various industry conferences on the topic of effective communications. She is a member of the Women’s Financial Services Network and the Financial Communications Society.

Danse has a B.A. degree from Hamilton College, and resides with her husband and two children outside of Boston.
