Transamerica had some good news for Aronson+Johson+Ortiz. In Morningstar's Fund Times, Ryan Leggio reports that Transamerica hired AJO to subadvise its Large Value Fund, stepping in after Transamerica fired prior subadvisors AllianceBernstein and TCW. Philadelphia-based AJO already comanages Transamerica's Large Core Fund (alongside BlackRock).
