is asking for a little more effort from his team in these challenging market conditions. A spokesperson for Putnam
confirmed that the Power Financial
subsidiary's employees will up theirs hours starting in May.
"To succeed in times like these, we need a strong work ethic and smart cost discipline," the spokesperson told MFWire
. "To maximize our current staff resources and align the firm with the standard hours currently in place within most financial services organizations, Putnam will move from a 35-hour work week to a 37.5-hour work week, effective May 4th."
