All equity funds in Neuberger Berman's
roster will carry A and C shares going forward, Morningstar's
. The A shares will come with a front-end load of 575 basis points and C shares
will have a 100 basis point deferred sales charge. Neuberger plans to halt sales of no-load shares to the public soon, with the exception being grandfathered shareholders who made their purchase before March 1, 2008.
The shift comes as no surprise to industry observers.
