Driehaus Capital Management has appointed John E. Angley to the newly created position of director of sales.

In his new position, Angley will be responsible for managing the sales force, which covers a global distribution channel, and increase the level of awareness about the firm and its range of investment capabilities.

Angley will be reporting directly to Robert Moyer, president of Driehaus Capital Management. Formerly, Cheryl Cannister was responsible for the sales force, but she will now be focusing on increasing the firm's exposure as director of client services and marketing.

Previously, Angley was a managing director at Capital Resource Advisors. A spokesperson at Capital Resource could not be reached to confirm if that position has been filled.
