American Beacon Advisors has brought on board Jeff Ringdahl as chief operating officer. The post is newly created, a company spokesperson told The MFWire.

Before joining American Beacon this year, Ringdahl spent six years at Western & Southern Financial Group, where his roles included serving as vice president of product management for Western & Southern's mutual fund subsidiary, Touchstone Investments.

A Touchstone representative was not immediately able to comment on how Ringdahl's former duties are being handled.

Ringdahl's arrival at American Beacon comes months after Gene Needles left his post as Touchstone's president to to become president and CEO of American Beacon.
