Fidelity Investments' hometown employees will be showing up to work Monday morning, but they won't be drinking any coffee in the office.
After a 10-foot diameter pipe burst this weekend, Bostonians have been ordered not to drink tap water without boiling it first. The city tap water is unsafe for consumption. The ruptured pipe affects about two million residents in Boston and surrounding towns.
Fidelity spokesperson Anne Crowley
told the
Wall Street Journal that all of Fidelity's Boston-area offices will be open. The company will be notifying employees of undrinkable water and is working to obtain more bottled water.
