$2.31 billion acquisition of PNC Global Investment Servicing

about growth opportunities for the combined organization.

"BNY Mellon didn't acquire us for us to sit still," said Wolcott, who was president of PNC GIS and now serves as head of U.S. fund services at BNY Mellon.
"The market can expect us to be extremely aggressive
in demonstrating our capabilities across the globe," she said.
The deal, she said, brings "increased opportunities
Wolcott, who reports to U.S. Fund Services CEO Steve Wynne (her boss at PNC GIS), has four people reporting directly to her: Mike DeNofrio
, head of U.S. investor services; Jay Nusblatt
, head of U.S. fund accounting
and administration; Ken Roenher
, head of relationship management and Joe Keenan
, head of global ETF, UIT and closed-end funds.
With the acquisition, BNY Mellon is now the No. 2 provider of fund accounting, administration and transfer agency services globally and the No. 1 provider of mutual fund sub-accounting services for broker-dealers.
The deal, first unveiled in February, closed July 1.
