Three Vanguard [see profile] mutual funds will see a change in their manager roster. David Van Slooten, who has served as co-manager for Vanguard Primecap, Vanguard Primecap Core and Vanguard Capital Opportunity, is leaving Primecap Management Company, reports Ryan Leggio of Morningstar.

Pasadena, California-based Primecap added Mohsin Ansari as a named manager on the three funds. Ansari's addition, however, is not a result of Van Slooten's departure, say Primecap officials. Rather, his inclusion has been in the works for some time.
