Whatever happens to former fund industry chieftains? In one case at least, the sell toys. Nicholas Lopardo, chief executive officer of SSgA has partnered with Andy Winslow to market the "Construction Jack" action figure. Winslow brought Lopardo on board to handle funding, production, parts sourcing, and marketing after already creating the prototype for the two.

"It took me about five minutes to see the potential of Construction Jack," said Lopardo. "The building trades represent a huge market and its members take great pride in what they do for a living. And 'Bob the Builder' has created a massive market of kids who are ready for a more lifelike action figure."

The pair plans to bring out a "friend" Jack next year. Get ready to meet Construction Jill. Also in the works are an African American Construction Jack and Ironworker Jack, Landscaper Jack and Mechanic Jack.
