The MFWire broke
news of the reorganization last week.
The company news release announced that Alain Karaoglan
will become the COO and oversee the investment management business.
It was also announced that CEO Rod Martin
will take over the oversight of ING's retirement and insurance business.
A memo from Martin obtained by MFWire
described the changes as a decision to "restructure the Office of the CEO (OCEO)."
