Two Pairs of Johnsons Still Top Fundsters on Forbes' List

Of course you do. So here is a list of all the mutual fund industry mavens who found their way onto the Forbes 400 list of the richest people in America. Let them pick up the check next time you're out to dinner.

  • Abby Johnson of Fidelity (#27, worth $11.8 billion)

  • Ned Johnson of Fidelity (#52, worth $6.5 billion)

  • Charles Johnson of Franklin Resources (#72, worth $4.7 billion)

  • Rupert Johnson of Franklin Resources (#77, worth $4.6 billion)

  • Bill Gross of Pimco (#206, worth $2.3 billion)

  • Ken Fisher, self-made fundster and advisor (#271, worth $1.8 billion)

  • Joe Mansueto of Morningstar (#297, worth $1.65 billion)

  • Ron Baron, self-made fundster (#311, worth $1.5 billion)

  • Michael Price of MFP Investors (#328, worth $1.4 billion)

  • Mario Gabelli, self-made fundster (#392, worth $1.1 billion)

    Additionally, two non-fundsters who are influencing the industry made the lists. Howard Marks, who backs DoubleLine funds and leads Oaktree Capital, sits at #328.

    Meanwhile, Legg Mason activist investor Nelson Peltz clocks in at #360.
