Artisan Partners [profile] has to like the odds that one of its PMs will take home Morningstar's award for international-stock PM of the year.

Morningstar announced the nominees for its annual award today, and two of the four nominees are Artisan PMs. There's Mark Yockey, PM of the Artisan International and Artisan International Small Cap funds, and the PM team of David Samra and Daniel O'Keefe, who run the Artisan International Value and Artisan Global Value funds.

The other two nominees vying for Morningstar's international-stock PM honors are OppenheimerFunds' [profile] George Evans, manager of the Oppenheimer International Growth fund, and Virtus [profile] PM Rajiv Jain, who runs the Virtus Foreign Opportunities and the Virtus Emerging Markets Opportunities funds.

M* has also released fund manager of the year nominees in the alternatives, domestic equity and fixed income categories.
