The Financial Times' mutual fund industry trade publication, Ignites, has a new managing editor.

The previously London-based Owen Walker has been named to the position. He previously served as editor of the FT’s schemeXpert.com. He also worked at a number of titles within the FT’s asset management division in London, covering institutional and retail pensions and investments.

His predecessor at Ignites, 10-year company veteran Andrew Greene, was kicked upstairs to the position of associate group managing editor of Money-Media, responsible for the editorial content on Ignites, FundFire, BoardIQ and all video content.
