A New Asset Management Recruiter Opens its Doors

Fundsters, prepare your resumes, because there is a new recruiting shop in town.

Derek Braddock and Bill Matthews today announced the launch of BraddockMatthews, a new executive search firm focused on the asset management and financial services industries.

BraddockMatthews, with offices initially in New York and Boston, will serve asset management, hedge fund, private equity, investment banking, brokerage, endowment & foundation and private investment clients.

Other members of the firm include: Missy Marron; Erin Carroll; Jen Armstrong; Jackie Lee, and Crosby Haynes.

Derek Braddock and Bill Matthews Announce Formation of BraddockMatthews

New Executive Search Firm Focused on Asset Management and Financial Services Industries Co-Founders Build on Nearly 60 Years of Combined Industry Experience

NEW YORK & BOSTON--Derek Braddock and Bill Matthews today announced the launch of BraddockMatthews LLC, a new executive search firm focused exclusively on the asset management and financial services industries.

BraddockMatthews, with offices initially in New York and Boston, will be built on nearly 60 years of combined industry experience and a commitment to providing unparalleled insights and service to leading asset management, hedge fund, private equity, investment banking, brokerage, endowment & foundation and private investment clients.

Derek Braddock stated, “We are very excited to announce the launch of our new firm and have hit the ground running by leveraging our deep search experience across investment, marketing and business development, operational, finance, banking, risk and senior management mandates. We have a strong, seasoned team already in place, led by Missy Marron and Erin Carroll, both former colleagues and exceptional senior recruiters. Jen Armstrong and Jackie Lee, also former colleagues, and new addition Crosby Haynes, formerly of Raines International, will round out our team, and we will continue to be supported by excellent and robust research and administrative capabilities.”

Derek Braddock

Derek is a co-founder of BraddockMatthews and brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding BraddockMatthews, Derek was a partner for eight years at another well-known asset management and financial services search firm, HigdonBraddockMatthews, and previously spent more than 10 years across a range of financial services sales, product management and marketing roles. Derek earned his B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Bill Matthews

Bill is a co-founder of BraddockMatthews. Having spent more than five years as a partner at HigdonBraddockMatthews and five years at Conley & Co., Bill has extensive search experience across the financial services arena, with particularly deep search experience across alternative asset search activities. Earlier in his career, Bill worked for nearly a decade as a lawyer and investment banker in Boston. Bill holds a B.A. in history from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
