IndexUniverse reports that 
Ben Fulton, managing director of global ETFs at Invesco 
PowerShares, will step down from his post at the end of April, ending an eight-year tenure.
The trade pub dubs Fulton's resignation as "the end of an era in the ETF industry," noting that the founding fathers of the ETF industry have virtually all left the industry. 
They include 
Lee Kranefuss from 
iShares; 
Gus Sauter from 
Vanguard; 
Gus Fleites from 
SSgA; and the former PowerShares chief executive 
Bruce Bond
