BMO Hires Two

BMO Global Asset Management [profile] has hired Christopher Keenan as a senior securities lender/trader and Katherine DellaMaria as a portfolio manager. The Chicago-based firm says the new hires are part of the expansion of their Securities Lending and Short Duration Fixed Income Groups.

BMO Global Asset Management Expands Securities Lending and Short Duration Fixed Income Groups



CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Sept. 26, 2013) - As part of its ongoing efforts to deliver outcome-oriented investment solutions to clients, BMO Global Asset Management today announced the expansion of its Securities Lending and Short Duration Fixed Income Groups with the addition of Christopher Keenan as Senior Securities Lender/Trader and Katherine DellaMaria as Portfolio Manager. Both are based in Chicago.

"Katherine and Christopher both bring an exceptional balance of industry experience and fresh innovation to the BMO family," said Barry McInerney, Co-CEO of BMO Global Asset Management. "They are welcome additions to an already strong team of world-class investment professionals."

With more than 10 years of industry experience, Keenan will be responsible for the control and coordination of the securities lending trading desk and trading/lending within client portfolios. His previous roles include Senior International Equities Trader, Fixed Income Trader and Senior Investment Risk Analyst at leading organizations, with a heavy focus on international portfolio management and strategies. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Indiana University and his M.B.A. from Loyola University - Chicago.

DellaMaria will provide analytical and liquidity support for mutual funds and separately managed strategies. In her most recent role, DellaMaria was a Fixed Income Product Specialist for BMO Global Asset Management's long-term bond manager Taplin, Canida and Habacht. With over a decade of industry experience, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Notre Dame and her M.B.A. from Northwestern University with an analytical finance concentration. DellaMaria earned her CFA designation in 2010.
