BMO Global Asset Management Introduces Three New Funds for Investors to Diversify, Enhance Their Portfolios

CHICAGO, September 30, 2013 - BMO Global Asset Management today launched three funds designed to help investors achieve their investment goals. With the addition of the new funds, BMO Global Asset Management’s fund roster now stands at 31 offerings which investors – and the advisors who serve them – can use as building blocks of a well-diversified investment strategy.

“Investors continue to seek out opportunities to reduce volatility and diversify their sources of returns, and we are responding to this as we continue to innovate and expand our suite of outcome-oriented investment solutions,” said Craig Rawlins, Chief Investment Officer, BMO Global Asset Management. “All three of these noteworthy funds aim to take advantage of market inefficiencies and anomalies that may simultaneously reduce risk and increase potential returns. The bottom line is these new funds can help investors achieve their long-term objectives.”

The three new funds introduced today are:

BMO TCH Emerging Markets Bond Fund – seeks to maximize total return from current income and capital appreciation, investing in debt securities issued by emerging market governments, companies located in emerging markets, or issuers whose primary business or trading activities are conducted in emerging markets.

BMO Micro-Cap Fund – seeks to provide capital appreciation by investing, using a disciplined quantitative process, in common stocks of U.S. companies similar in size to those within the Russell Microcap® Index based on company fundamentals.

BMO Global Low Volatility Fund – is designed to provide investors with long-term returns similar to U.S. large cap stocks but with less volatility. The fund seeks capital appreciation by investing in stocks of U.S. companies similar in size to those in the Russell 1000® Index.

“Adding emerging market bonds, micro-cap equities, or a global portfolio of low-volatility stocks can be a sound option for the risk-conscious financial advisor or investor seeking to add potential upside to their portfolios,” noted Rawlins. “And as with our other investment strategies, these new funds are managed by skilled and dedicated investment professionals.”

Additional information about these funds can be found at BMO Global Asset Management’s new website:  HYPERLINK "http://www.bmogam.com" www.bmogam.com.

The recently launched website provides a comprehensive look at the asset management, recordkeeping and trust and custody services available through the firm.

The new portal incorporates multimedia presentations, such as videos, along with educational content, client surveys and insights directly from the portfolio managers and strategists at BMO.
