Ultimus Fund Solutions announced today that it is has expanded its strategic fund distribution services.
The new offerings reportedly include strategic advice and resources throughout every step of the fund distribution process, from product design and positioning, through distribution channel recommendations and relationship building. Through the expanded offering, Ultimus will deliver insights on the various platforms and key trends taking place in targeted channels, helping clients create more strategic distribution strategies. Those insights may include desired fund attributes and preferred structures, competitive information and other data that can be applied to existing and future products. Additionally the distribution strategies team will serve as active advocates for managers, leveraging their expertise and relationships with intermediaries to generate awareness, uncover new mutual fund opportunities and provide guidance and resources to execute their plans.
To lead these new offerings, Ultimus has named Kevin Guerette vice president, Director of Distribution Strategies. Guerette previously served as the National Sales Manager, Platform Sales and National Account Director at SEI Investments Distribution Company. At SEI he headed a team that created an integral distribution program and developed an intermediary guide that provided critical information on all major platforms. He also cultivated strong distribution relationships, providing clients with new avenues for asset growth. Prior to that, Guerette served as Key Account Manager at Guardian Investor Services, establishing contact with broker/dealers and building a program focused on key partners.
