There is a change at the top at Automated Business Development. The "Blue Sky" compliance arm of PFPC has named Elizabeth Nystedt to succeed Peter Lemay as president and CEO. Lemay, who founded ABD in 1985, will step down at the end of March. PFPC purchased ABD in May of 2000,

Nystedt co-founded ClearSky, the outsourcing division of ABD, in 1994. She has been chief operating officer of the ClearSky division, overseeing product development and client relationships.

In her new position, Nystedt will report to John Andaloro, executive vice president and chief administrative officer for PFPC Worldwide Inc.

"Liz Nystedt's appointment as ABD president assures both professional expertise and continuity at the helm of ABD," said Andaloro. "With more than 18 years experience at ABD, Liz is knowledgeable about all aspects of the compliance industry; has worked with clients for many years, and is committed to continuing ABD's reputation for providing value, efficiency and integrity."
