Fundsters, Come to Times Square and Court Advisors

Reported by Tommy Fernandez

How often do you get to hang out with financial advisors in Times Square, aside from the random New Year's Eve outing?

Next month, you'll get your chance during a new event called National Financial Advisors Week, running from September 15 to 19th in Times Square.

The event, hosted by AdviceIQ will include presentations, speeches, a sweepstakes, and assorted special ceremonies celebrating the work of financial advisors. More specifics on the agenda can be found here.

Most importantly for you fundsters, there are a number of sponsorship and advertising opportunities still available.

The event's organizers are looking to have a total of 81 sponsors, consisting of:
1. One Diamond Sponsorship for $250,000
2. Five Platinum Sponsorships for $100,000 each
3. Fifteen Gold Sponsorships for $75,000 each
4. Twenty Silver Sponsorships for $50,000 each
5. Forty Bronze Sponsorships for $20,000 each

Fund firms currently sponsoring event include American Realty Capital, American Funds, and LJM Funds. A full list of sponsors can be found here.

To learn more about sponsorship opportunities for the event, contact Rachel Yoder, NFAW and AdviceIQ account manager, at 646-867-8194 and via ryoder@adviceiq.com.

Yoder told MFWire that there are still sponsorship spots open at the event. Sponsors, she said, need to be in at the silver level minimum to have a booth at the event, with various other opportunities at every sponsorship level. They have also recently added a jumbotron to the lineup for NFA, and gave the Financial Planning Association – New York Chapter a booth pro-bono, she said.
