Chuck Royce just hired a finance and administrative chief.

Today Royce & Associates [profile] president Chris Clark confirmed the addition of Peter Hoglund as chief financial officer, chief administrative officer and principal at the New York City-based Legg Mason subsidiary. Hoglund most recently served as CFO at Birmingham, Michigan-based Munder Funds [profile], where he worked for nearly two decades.

A Victory spokesman declined to comment on how Hoglund's duties are being handled.

Hoglund's move comes after Victory Capital Management acquired Munder a month ago.

At Royce, Hoglund takes the CFO hat once held by chief operating officer and managing director John Diederich.
