In an emailed statement, a PacLife spokeswoman confirms that, effective December 31, Pacific Life Funds will become Pacific Funds. Its will lose the "PL" at the beginning of their names and replace it with "Pacific Funds", while taking the word "Fund" out of the end of their names. (The brand tweaking for the PL Income Fund

As part of the change, on New Year's Eve the funds' website will change to www.PacificFunds.com
As of November 30, the 12 Pacific Life Funds held $6.017 billion.
