Dee DeQuattro of the the local ABC News affiliate reports that today Governor-Elect Gina Raimondo (a Democrat) named Michael DiBiase (a Republican, according to NPR) as her choice for Director of Administration.

The Bond Buyer, GoLocalProv, the local NPR affiliate, the Providence Journal, and WPRO News Talk 630 (99.7 FM) also reported on Raimondo selection of DiBiase.

DiBiase, 57, has spent nearly 14 years at Fidelity, most recently as senior vice president of state government relations and public affairs.
