An AB [profile] sales chief in a key channel is moving on.

Our sister publication, 401kWire, broke the news that Craig Lombardi has left New York-based AB. Lombardi had served as senior vice president, managing director, and head of DC I-O sales.

MFWire could not reach Lombardi for commnet.

A spokesman for AB confirmed Lombardi's departure but declined to comment on how Lombardi's duties are being handled. Dick Davies, senior managing director of AllianceBernstein Defined Contribution, referred inquiries to a company spokesman.

Lombardi joined AB (then AllianceBernstein) in 2011. An alumnus of the College of Wooster, he spent two decades in various roles at Fidelity before joining AB.
