Schroders has acquired Brookfield's team in order to "expand its securitized credit team." This NY-based team will be led by Michelle Russell-Dowe.

Hummel has joined the mutual fund shop as a senior vice president in direct sales and service. Previously, Hummel served as a managing director for strategic initiatives and thought leadership at Envestnet, Inc.
