Taki was appointed as chief executive officer of Federated Investors Asia Pacific. In his new role, Taki will be focused on business development efforts and opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, Mukai also joins the distribution team as head of Asia-Pacific client relationships, and managing director. Yoe will also join as managing director. All were previously employed at Phoenix Global Capital Management.

Marty Willis Nuveen CMO

Company: Nuveen Investments

Appointee: Marty Willis

Willis, Nuveen CMO, was given the Gold Achievement Award for accomplishments in financial services, and on commitment to diversity and inclusion by the Girl Scouts. Willis will officially be honored at the Girl Scouts’ annual Gold Achievement Gala in Manhattan, on May 1.



Company: Sequoia Financial Group

Appointment: Chris Creahan

Creahan was hired by Sequoia as managing director. His responsibilities include managing the activities of the entire asset management team at Sequoia, communicating with client base, and overseeing investment strategy. Previously, Creahan was vice president at Huntington Private Bank.



Company: Eaton Vance

Appointment: Michael A. Allison

Allison was appointed sole PM of Eaton Vance Risk-Managed Diversified Equity Income Fund (ETJ). Allison has managed this fund since 2007. Since 2012, Kevin J. Amell also PMed the fund alongside Allison. (Yesterday the SEC filed charges against Amell.)
