A FolioDynamix investment executive is moving on from Envestnet.

Atlanta-based George Chen left Envestnet last month, MFWire has learned. Chen most recently served as director of investment strategies at the giant TAMP.

Sarah Abernathy, a FolioDynamix executive who now serves as director of consulting services at Envestnet, did not respond to a request for comment.

The departure comes after Envestnet bought FolioDynamix at the beginning of 2018.

Chen, an alumnus of both the University of New Orleans and of Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, joined FolioDynamix in 2015 and helped build proprietary model strategies, worked on the asset allocation team, and more. Prior to FolioDynamix he worked with Wilmington Trust.
