, as Fidelity "is a longtime Tesla investor." Yet the paper notes that Johnson "recently said her job requires her full attention."
On Saturday Tesla's high profile chairman and CEO, Elon Musk
with the SEC over fraud charges regarding his tweeting about the company. As part of the settlement, Musk agreed to step down as chairman, so the Tesla investors and board need to find a replacement.
muses about a number of possible new Tesla chairs in addition to Johnson, including: famed investor Warren Buffett, former Ford CEO Alan Mulally, outgoing Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi, and Starbucks chief Howard Schultz. And the paper shares some quotes from Johnson about running companies.
