An OpFunds RIA Exec Rises As an Invesco Vet Departs

Reported by Neil Anderson, Managing Editor

An OppenheimerFunds executive is taking over as an Invesco [profile] executive departs.

Stephen Douglas Degnan
Invesco
Vice President, Senior Advisor Consultant, RIA Market Leader
Philadelphia-based Steve Degnan, vice president and senior advisor consultant for the mid-atlantic region for OpFunds' RIA unit, now serves as vice president, senior advisor consultant, and RIA market leader at Invesco, MFWire has learned. Meanwhile, West Chester, Pennsylvania-based Andrew Lill, divisional sales director for Invesco's RIA division, is leaving the company.

Degnan did not immediately respond to a request for comment. An Invesco spokesperson did not immediately respond to a call for comment. Lill declined to comment.

Both moves come as Invesco integrates after OpFunds after closing on the acquisition. As previously reported, John McDonough, formerly executive vice president and head of distribution and marketing at OpFunds, has taken over as head of U.S. wealth management intermediaries (WMI) distribution for all of Invesco.

Degnan, an alumnus of University of Maryland College Park, joined OpFunds in 2016. Prior to that he worked at ULLICO and then spent nearly 18 years at BlackRock.

Lill, an alumnus of UPenn's Wharton and of Syracuse University, joined Invesco in 2010 and rose to divisional director in 2016. Before joining Invesco, he worked at DWS, Schwab, Commerce Capital Markets, and Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp.
