Her Majesty recently met a prominent fundster who's shifting to the academic side of things.

Mohamed El-Erian Allianz Chief Economic Adviser

Last week, Queen Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor) of England visited Cambridge, where she met Mohamed El-Erian, chief economic advisor to the management board of Allianz Group. (El-Erian has been chosen to take over next year as president of Cambridge's Queens College, of which he is also an alumnus.)

While in Cambridge, Her Majesty also planted a tree and visited a hospital.
