Marie Chandoha is betting on, and lending her expertise to, a fintech company.

Yesterday Andres Garcia-Amaya, founder and CEO of Zoe Financial, confirmed that Marie Chandoha has invested in the firm and joined its advisory committee. Chandoha, a board member of State Street, retired last year after leading Schwab's asset management arm.

"Marie's unparalleled industry expertise and network is a game-changer for Zoe as we begin to scale the business," Garcia-Amaya states.

"The wealth management industry is ripe for new solutions that allow the consumer to find, hire and collaborate with their ideal financial advisor while effortlessly navigating between the digital and the physical world," Chandoha states. Zoe is also backed by at least one not-yet-retired fundster, George Gatch.
