A Swiss firm's asset management team recently welcomed an advisor distribution chief on this side of the pond.

Jeffrey Gerard Klepacki Vontobel Asset Management Head of Intermediary Distribution, North America

Thomas Wittwer, CEO of Vontobel Asset Management's U.S. business, confirms that Jeff Klepacki recently joined the firm in the newly created position of head of intermediary distribution. Klepacki most recently served as head of distribution in the Americas for Aberdeen Standard Investments, another European asset manager, before leaving in December.

An Aberdeen Standard spokesperson did not immediately return a call for comment.

"As we continue to expand our footprint in North America by offering products that suit the needs of our clients, Jeff's deep expertise across asset classes will be an integral part of our multi-boutique strategy," Wittwer states.

Klepacki joined Aberdeen Standard in 2017. Previously, he worked with Capital Group, Delaware, Allianz, and Bloomberg. He is an alumnus of Rutgers and a three-time Olympic rower.
