ADP has added a fourth 529 plan available as an option for anyone using the company for payroll.
The latest plan to be made available is North Carolina's direct-sold 529 plan, the North Carolina National College Savings Program. The plan is administered by non-profit organization College Foundation Inc and offers investment options from Seligman, MetLife, Wachovia and NCM Capital Management.
"We have been talking [with ADP] for several years about this," said Shera Hube, vice president of marketing and savings for CFI. CFI also works with other in-state payroll providers to provide 529 deductions, said Hube.
ADP's 401(k) unit lists the plans on its College Central
website.
ADP also offers the South Carolina Future Scholar 529 College Savings Plan, managed by Bank of America; the South Dakota CollegeAccess 529 Plan, managed by PIMCO, MFS, Franklin-Templeton, and American Funds; and Rhode Island's CollegeBoundFund, managed by AllianceBernstein.
