Just because he's moved into the governor's mansion doesn't mean that
Eliot Spitzer has forgotten about Wall Street.
The Financial Times reports that Spitzer is forming a panel of Wall Street executives, lawyers, consumer groups and regulators whose goal will be to modernize financial services regulation in New York so it can better compete with the London markets. The group will be chaired by New York insurance superintendent Eric Dinallo, and will include the chief executives of Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, AIG and MetLife, the heads of several New York-chartered banks and representatives of consumer and New York business groups.
