T. Rowe Price is taking the gospel of early financial planning to the streets.

The Baltimore, Maryland-based provider has just released a 24-page guidebook for new investors with tips on how to prepare for a long and profitable retirement.

The guidebook, called Smart Financial Living, is the latest offering in T. Rowe Price's stable of educational products designed to help new investors navigate the world of financial planning.

Robert Benjamin, a spokesman for T. Rowe Price described the guidebook as a primer for people who are just learning how to invest their savings.

"[Smart Financial Living] is time ordered, with information on setting priorities, budgeting, and setting short, medium and long-term goals," said Benjamin. He added that the guidebook is a great resource for anyone looking to invest in their retirement from young people just entering the workforce, to older workers preparing for retirement.
