At SGI Zeitoun will be responsible for institutional product innovation, and developing a wirehouse/platform distribution strategy.

Security Global Investors, the asset management arm of Security Benefit Corporation, announced today that Marc Zeitoun has joined the company as Head of Product Development and Platform Distribution.

Zeitoun, former Executive Director of Investment Solutions for UBS Financial Services, has more than 13 years experience in the financial services industry. He spent the majority of his career at UBS (and PaineWebber prior to the merger) where he was most recently responsible for the firm’s fee-based platform, focusing on asset growth and platform innovation. Prior to that appointment, Zeitoun had been a driving force behind establishing financial advisor tools and processes to support a culture shift toward comprehensive, consultative, wealth management within the firm.

In his new role, Zeitoun will be responsible for institutional product innovation, and developing a wirehouse/platform distribution strategy.

“We’re pleased to have Marc on board and to add his expertise to the Security Global Investors team,” said Rich Goldman, president of Security Global Investors. “Marc’s experience and his focus on innovation will play a major role in our ongoing efforts to meet the dynamically changing needs of institutions, intermediaries and high net worth individuals.”

Security Global Investors manages roughly $11 billion in assets and provides retirement programs, insurance companies and other institutional investors with a diverse array of growth and value equity strategies, specialty fixed income strategies and global long-only and global long-short strategies.

“This is an exciting time to be joining Security Global Investors,” said Zeitoun. “This firm is singularly committed to becoming a premier asset manager within the retail and institutional markets. Given its track record of innovation, its well developed asset management competencies in global equity and fixed income management, and its willingness to invest in new areas, there is a clear path for success for the firm.”

Zeitoun will be based out of the firm’s New York office.
