PIMCO has promoted a whopping 82 people. The Newport Beach, California-based company now has 11 new executive vice presidents, 21 new senior vice presidents and 50 new vice presidents.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - March 27, 2008) - PIMCO, one of the world's leading fixed-income managers, has announced the promotion of 11 employees to the position of executive vice president, 21 to the position of senior vice president and 50 to the position of vice president.
The new executive vice presidents are:
Joshua M. Anderson, CFA
Mr. Anderson is a Newport Beach-based portfolio manager in PIMCO's ABS/MBS group who also manages the ABS research team. Before joining PIMCO in 2003, he was an institutional investor ranked analyst at Merrill Lynch covering both the residential ABS and CDO sectors. Mr. Anderson has twelve years of investment experience and holds an MBA in both accounting and finance from the State University of New York, Buffalo. He is a CFA charterholder and has a CPA certification.
Andrew Balls
Mr. Balls is a Newport Beach-based portfolio manager and global strategist in PIMCO's portfolio management and investment strategy group. He is currently a member of the firm's Investment Committee and Shadow Investment Committee. Before joining PIMCO in 2006, he spent eight years at the Financial Times, as chief economics correspondent in Washington and previously as an economics and finance commentator in New York and London. He holds a bachelor's degree from Oxford, a master's degree from Harvard and was a lecturer in economics at Keble College, Oxford.
Jennifer S. Bridwell
Ms. Bridwell is a Newport Beach-based product manager for the MBS/ABS team. Before joining PIMCO in 2005, she was a member of the portfolio strategies group at Fannie Mae, and worked in MBS/ABS sales at both Visible Markets and Freddie Mac. Previously she was a mortgage portfolio manager at the hedge fund Normandy Asset Management and an analyst at Smith Breeden Associates. She has nineteen years of experience in mortgage finance. She holds bachelor's degrees in economics with finance concentration as well as Russian area studies from Southern Methodist University.
Edward Devlin
Mr. Devlin is a Newport Beach-based global portfolio manager with responsibility for Canadian portfolios. Before joining PIMCO in 2006, Mr. Devlin was an Executive Director with Lehman Brothers in London focused on structured credit products. Previously, he spent nine years with Merrill Lynch in New York, Tokyo, and Toronto. While in Toronto, he was responsible for the structured debt derivatives desk, which included both interest rate and credit derivatives. Mr. Devlin has thirteen years of investment experience and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he earned the university's gold medal, and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Karzunori Harumi
Mr. Harumi is a Tokyo-based client servicing account manager. He joined PIMCO in 2000, previously having been associated with LTCB Investment Management and UBS Asset Management as an account manager. Mr. Harumi is a chartered member of Security Analysts Association of Japan. He has fifteen years of investment experience, holds a bachelor's degree in social studies from Hitotsubashi University and MBA from the University of Washington.
Stephanie Packer King, CFA
Ms. King is a Newport Beach-based account manager with a focus on institutional client servicing. She joined PIMCO in 2001, previously having been associated with Morgan Stanley and Blue Capital Management, LLC. Before that, she was employed as a strategic management consultant with Bain and Company. Ms. King has eight years of investment experience and holds a bachelor's degree magna cum laude in economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She is a CFA charterholder.
Scott Millimet
Mr. Millimet is a New York City-based client servicing account manager. He is also the head of the insurance channel team, a group organized to focus on the specific needs of insurance clients. He joined PIMCO in 1999, previously having been associated with Boston-based Back Bay Advisors, where he was a portfolio manager. Before joining Back Bay, Mr. Millimet worked for CM&M Inc., in Tokyo as Asia Regional Manager and senior trader and CM&M Futures Inc., at the Chicago Board of Trade as floor manager. Mr. Millimet has twenty-five years of investment experience, and holds a bachelor of science degree in economics and a master of science degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University.
Haruki Minaki
Mr. Minaki is the Chief Operating Officer for PIMCO Japan Ltd. Before joining PIMCO in 2005, he spent six years at JPMorgan Chase where he worked in Tokyo and New York as legal counsel supporting the investment management and private equity businesses. Before that, he was with the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky, and Walker LLP for eight years in their Los Angeles and Tokyo offices. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Princeton University and a law degree from the University of Southern California Law School.
Saumil H. Parikh, CFA
Mr. Parikh is a Newport Beach-based portfolio manager focusing on mortgage and low duration portfolios. He is also a member of PIMCO's Shadow Investment Committee, where he specializes in US interest rate and curve strategy. Mr. Parikh joined PIMCO in 2000, having previously been associated with UBS Warburg LLC as a US economist, focusing on Treasury market strategy. Mr. Parikh has nine years of investment experience, graduated Phi Beta Kappa with bachelor's degrees in economics and biology from Grinnell College, and is a CFA charterholder.
Peter G. Strelow
Mr. Strelow is a Newport Beach-based manager in The PIMCO Funds group, overseeing alternatives development, shareholder services, and fund statistics. From 2003 to 2006, he worked in PIMCO's executive office on communications and strategic initiatives. Mr. Strelow joined PIMCO in 2002 to help manage back office operations, focusing on continuous improvement initiatives. Before PIMCO, he worked in product management at Siebel Systems. Mr. Strelow holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Ramin Toloui
Mr. Toloui is a Newport Beach-based portfolio manager focusing on emerging markets. Before joining PIMCO in 2006, he spent seven years in the international division of the U.S. Department of Treasury, most recently as director of the Latin America office. He previously served as senior advisor to Treasury Under Secretary John Taylor during the financial crises in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Turkey in 2001-2003. Mr. Toloui holds a bachelor's degree summa cum laude in economics from Harvard University and a master's degree in international relations from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
