Goldman Sachs and Van Kampen Life are getting more distribution through Protective Life. The insurer is adding products from the two firms to its line of variable annuity products which include the Protective Variable Annuity II, Elements Plus, Elements Access and Protective Advantage.

With the latest offerings, Protective will offer 32 products from six investment managers.

The insurer will offer The Goldman Sachs Internet Tollkeeper Fund, a portfolio of the Goldman Sachs Variable Insurance Trust, and the Van Kampen Life Investment Trust Aggressive Growth Portfolio starting today.

"The addition of these funds is a continuing part of our multiple fund family strategy. Our variable annuities offer a broad selection of investment options from each of our investment managers to help meet the needs of contract holders across the risk spectrum," said Chris Jones, vice president of marketing for Protective's Investment Products Division.
