American Express has hired Michelle Keeley as senior vice president of fixed income investments. Keeley will lead AEFA's fixed income group, which includes portfolio managers, analysts, and traders who support the firm's retail, institutional and alternative investment products as well as owned assets and Real Estate Loan Management business.

Keeley comes to American Express from Zurich Global Assets in New York where for the past year she has been a member of the firm's senior management team and a managing director of its asset-based businesses including fixed income, equities and alternative investments.
