Old Mutual executives said Thursday they will conduct a partial IPO of their US asset management business.

In its preliminary results for 2009 released Thursday morning, Old Mutual said the partial IPO would "fund growth, enhance market profile and provide valuation visibility."

Old Mutual Asset Management US president and CEO Tom Turpin told Pensions & Investments that the IPO will occur within the next three years.
