The distribution move affecting Pimco and Allianz Global Investors Distributors (see related story) won't be the only upcoming change at Allianz.

Allianz Global Investors is moving to a new office next year. All New York City-based employees -- including AGID, Pimco and AGI Capital staffers -- will move to 1633 Broadway next summer, confirmed Allianz spokeswoman Megan Frank to The MutualFundWire.

The plan was announced internally yesterday.

The building "will be branded prominently with the Allianz name," Frank wrote in e-mailed comments to The MFWire.

Currently, Allianz's NYC headquarters is located at 1345 Avenue of the Americas, which is also the home of AllianceBernstein. That building carries the AllianceBernstein name.
