Corporate Insight has moved its headquarters
to a building attached to midtown Manhattan's Grand Central
Terminal. The research firm, whose reports include
the
Mutual Fund Monitor, now calls the historic Graybar
Building home.
The relocation from 675 Third Avenue to Suite 560 of
420 Lexington Avenue took place on November 29.
The company's new home has 40 percent more space, "which
will allow us to increase our analyst and consulting
staff," wrote
Corporate Insight president
Michael Ellison in an e-mail. "One of the first benefits of this increase will be our ability to start covering the property & casualty insurance market."
The new digs will also feature a focus group room, as well as what Ellison calls a "usability lab," where Corporate Insight will bring in investors, bank customers and financial advisors for benchmarking studies.
This is the sixth time the company moved since 1996, when Ellison joined the company that his father started.
