The Boston Herald's Jessice Van Sack has an
article today about Massachusetts executives working with Gov.
Deval Patrick to make the state more business-friendly.
The group is called Massachusetts Competitive Partnership and it is made up of 15 business honchos. Among them is Putnam CEO
Bob Reynolds, who is leading discussions on public benefits. Other members include EMC Corp. CEO Joe Tucci, Raytheon CEO William Swanson and Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
Van Sack also makes an interesting observation.
"And that can mean strange bedfellows. Fidelity heiress Abigail Johnson, for instance, sits on the committee chaired by Reynolds, her competitor," Van Sack writes.
