It's not exactly the Oscars, but a trio of Boston-based fund companies has been recognized for their "good reputation" in the Boston area, according to the Boston Business Journal.

And the winners for their category of "Most Admired Financial Services companies" are ....Fidelity Investments [see profile], Eaton Vance [see profile] and State Street [see profile].

"Reputation is the primary concern for most businesses," said Business Journal Publisher Christopher McIntosh. "As our communications platforms continue to evolve, so must our understanding of the value of a good reputation. These 30 companies, CEOs and brands epitiomize 'Most Admired' throughout Boston’s business community."
