Invesco Lures a Risk Chief From Franklin

Reported by Neil Anderson, Managing Editor

Invesco [see profile] just named a new risk chief. Yesterday the Atlanta-based mutual fund firm revealed the hiring of Suzann Christensen as global head of enterprise risk, reporting to chief financial officer Loren Starr.

Christensen previously served as senior vice president of finance and chair of the enterprise risk management committee at Franklin Templeton.

"Her arrival reinforces Invesco's strong commitment to risk management," Starr stated, praising Christensen for her "broad-ranging risk management experience so critical to the success of a global asset manager."
