Highland Capital Management [see profile] is moving its 150 staff from the Galleria to the Crescent complex in the Dallas' center the Dallas Morning News reports.

The firm has reportedly rented about 45,000 square feet in the Crescent office towers on Pearl Street at Cedar Springs Road and anticipates moving in the last few months of 2011. Highland Capital has been in the Galleria on Noel Road for more than a decade. Scott Wilson, Highland Capital Management’s managing director of strategy, told the pub that: "It’s more convenient for our investors to be in the heart of the investment management district."

Highland also has offices in New York, London and Singapore
